Mariana is a native of Brasov, Romania where she taught Russian and Romanian languages in the public school system for 15 years. She has lived in the Dallas, Texas area for the past 25 years.
Mariana worked at a Dallas-based adoption agency from 1997 to 2002 in the international department where she served as the liaison with Romania for prospective adoptive families.
Once families accepted a referral and paperwork was completed, Mariana traveled with them to Romania to meet their child and complete their adoption.
